Swim: done

We saw Mark in transition collecting his bike from a vantage point up above him. I’m not sure of his swim time since I can’t get to the ironman tracker. Buy he had the biggest smile on his face that I’ve ever seen. According to Laurie the smile was gone by the time he’d cycled down the helix and headed out on the bike. He’s in the zone, passing all the faster swimmers.

I’m heading out to the bike course now so no coverage I’m afraid. Feel free to post updates with his splits if you can find it on ironman.com (1634).

  1. Woohoo!! Swim time was 1:42:49, T1 was 14:37

They don’t appear to have timing splits for the bike so hopefully he is doing ok out there. Sounds like Mark has a pretty awesome support crew. Its a long day, have fun 🙂
